About me
Hi, my name is Rosanna, I’m an Italian illustrator currently based in Denmark.
When I was a child, I used to dream about becoming an illustrator and living in a house in the forest.
It took a while to follow my dream, and I’m still looking for that house. After a few years of struggling to find my path, I enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Catania, Sicily where I got a Bachelor in Printmaking and Illustration in 2021. I am a fond storyteller, just like my grandma, my mother and aunts, who filled my childhood with stories and nurtured my imagination.
That’s why my main focus is on children’s book illustration, as I hope to share the same joy I got to experience as a child. I also dabble in printmaking, monoprint being my technique of choice, and most of the time some collages come out of my printing sessions.
I sometimes offer workshops on monoprinting and I am currently working as a freelance illustrator, so feel free to look at my portfolio and to go to my contact page to get in touch.
